Saw them on Duff's website, I like the price at $100...might try them out in the future, just wondering if anyone else has used them?

Edit: These are the ones that bolt to the top u bolt plate.

The ladder type or the ones that bolt to the top of the springs? I have the ones for the top of the springs (reduces axle wrap) on my 84 and they have worked well. I know its not a 98, but there shouldnt be much difference in how they mount.

The ones that mount to the top of the springs, those are the only ones they offer for 98+

They are fairly easy to install (you have to drill a couple holes on the front spring hanger). Mine have held up to having 2" blocks (gone now. I went with ached springs) and the 347 I have. I did tear one up one (had some crazy flex and it broke one of the spring bushings. Where the actual bushing is that mounts to the spring. It was an easy fix though (just re positioned the bushing mount and re-welded. They are up out of the way, so no issues with clearance. Like I said the are designed to help with axle wrap more than anything.

You can kinda see the passenger side in this pic.

Thanks. Well, I know they're supposed to help with axle wrap, I did have 2" shackles but they were interfering with how I wanted to do my exhaust so I just went back to stock shackles and a lift block. Just looking at options if the blocks will have a negative effect on axle wrap or wheelhop, don't know yet.

They did. I used to have 4" blocks on mine and they kept the wrap to a minimum. I put them back on because for 1. I already had them and 2. they are out of the way

My brother ran them on his 02 FX4 with good results. For good measure if your having issues with rear axle hop, make sure your rear shocks are in good shape also. My truck had a fit in the sand before I put new shocks on the rear.
