Anyone use these spacers before?

Nice pics!!! Thank you! Do you happen to remember the inner diameter of the washers? The outer is 3 inches, isn't it?

Also, my pitman arm should be OK with just leveling, won't it?

Correct me if I'm wrong but your truck is stock height and has a stock pitman arm? If so you'll be just fine. You *might* experience or notice a little more bumpsteer but it will be minimal (ok when I added my washers the steering wheel would literally do a quarter turn towards to whichever tire had hit a pot hole or bump in the road= ridiculous bumpsteer) Yours won't be anywhere near this so don't worry.

The OD is 3" and the ID is 1-3/8".

Thank you for all of your help guys! I appreciate it a ton.

The only washers I could find are 3 1/4 inch outer, 1 3/8 inner. Will these still work OK? I don't see anything that would be an issue, but want to make sure before I get into this project. I got them for 12 bucks, which sounds about right from what I see.

Oh, and yes legoms013, my truck is 100% factory everything. For now....

Actually, I just calipered the inner and it is calipers at 1.48 inches. Is this too big for the inner?

O.D. is unimportant, just as long as the O.D. is no less than 3" and that they have a 1-3/8" I.D.

So is a 1.5 inner diameter going to be a problem?

And obviously the bolt is smaller than the hole in the washer. is there something I should fill the void with?

Does anyone know the answer to this??? :shok:

I s'pose those would work... 1-3/8" would be better though (won't move around as much).

No need to fill the void around the threaded part if they are all welded together.

The ID of the washer must atleast be 1-3/8" to allow room for the hex of the stud.

You might be able to go bigger, but the issue comes that with a washer that has a larger ID also will have a larger OD (atleast where I have searched them). Not to mention the fact that if not tight they can shift around...

Its best not to go much larger than 3.25" on the OD.

Here's the ones I have under my truck:

And a cheaper alternative:

Thank you for the post Yellowsplash. According to your links, those are the exact dimensions of my washers. The links both say a 1.5 inner diameter, but call it a 1 3/8 nominal size. They told me at RayFasteners that they were 1 3/8, but when I put the caliper to them, they dialed in at 1.48 or so. I think I'm good with what I've got. I really appreciate the post, that makes me feel better about it.:icon_thumby:

I use krylon rust tough from the local parts store. Rustoleum works too...

if i added the 1.5" of washers would i have to go get an allignment? im thinking about doing this and it seems simple enough

Just get underneath your truck with a tape measure and measure how much length/threads are left on the stud that the coil retainer goes on, as this distance is how many washers you will be able to fit.

I was able to fit +1.5" worth of washers and still was able to get the coil retaining nut to engage plenty of threads (essential).

so could i use washers that are 1 3/8" inside hole and a 3 1/4" diameter to lift mine?
