Anyone running rockford or sony subs!

will there be any difference in sound and performance between the cvt and the cvr models when connected to the exact same amp.The regular comp is too low of rms for me and the cvx is equal to a l7 only in round model.
all three are good but i used flat ones when can to save space, but they all work.

iv always like the sound of an alum cone idk why

well having more watts then need is a bad thing or a problem you just have to have your amps adjusted right,

what amp are you running

Well right now i have a kenwood 9104d that puts or 900 rms at 2 ohms. But i don't like it.I also got a 250 watt rms soundstorm amp that actually pushes pretty good for a cheap amp..But i am also looking to get a different amp.So what ever sub i pic i will get a amp to match.

i think you would be happy with the cvx and there zx amps will run it, i use apline amps but use kicker amps frequently there test and work well. and are good for the money. so its up to you.

Another buddy of mine has a 1992 ford bronco, and he's got 2 12 inch Pioneer Premier Subs with a ported box, runnin on a 2000 watt amplifier (not sure what brand, sorry) but all of that runs into a pioneer head unit, and i gotta say, the whole system sounds good as hell. He has the remote controlled thing where he can chance the setting of his subs by remote, and when he wants too, he can make his shit bump. We've actually set off countless car alarms with em, its awsome. Pioneer's in my opinion are the best bump for your buck.
