Anyone run Uniroyal Liberator A/Ts before?

Like the title says, anyone used them before? My mom's POS 4x4 S10 needs tires and I saw them at Walmart. The tread isn't quite aggressive as I would like, but they look fine for snow and light off pavement use. How long do they last? Any known pros vs cons?

I had them on my 89' S10 2wd. They worked nice in heavy slush but not so good in deep snow (8"+) w/ an open rear. I thought they were good though. They wear nice, good in the rain. In my opinion they are a good tire.

i had them on my 94 2wd ranger, i got about 50,000 on them when i switchet to bigger tires, i couldve got about 15-20 more thousand. i liked them for the most part especially for the price. the only problem i had was pulling a tree through the mudd, but was using a 2wd. on light trails and light light mud they werent bad, reel smooth on the street

not a uniroyal fan, but they usually are a good cost/value tire.

i had them on my first vehicle (a chebby 1500 ) i bought them a week before i had my license and i drove the truck a year and a half (i was 16 so that means a lot of burnouts ) and they still had good tread left when i sold it to a wrecking yard. they were always really good in the snow too. i suggest buying them.

i have those tires on my factory alloy rims that i only run during non-winter months (april-october) they are fine on dry pavement but thats about it, they do have a high treadwear and load rating but ive found they dont get a very good grip on wet pavement, they are useless in mud and seeing as how they spin and slide on wet pavement, i dont see them doing very well in snow. my tire choice for winter months is a pep-boys store brand, the dakota futura. it has a tread patternt very similar to the bfg a/t. the last time i bout 4 they were about 53 a tire. ive recently checked tire prices because the wife's S-10 blazer needs tires badly and was surprized to see that those tires are now close to 90 a tire. the do eat snow very well and are quiet.

my moms 93 had a set of those uniroyals, and they did really good.
good and almost 100% silent pavement driving, kinda ok on wet pavement and they did ok on dirt. not that good on mud, but they lasted really long. they held up the cargo abuse too.

We ended up not getting them. We went with Treadwright BFG A/T clones. I mounted them myself and didn't balance them at all and they go down the road perfectly smooth. The ride is slightly stiffer than the mismatched junk tires that were on it, but still good. I think they were a good deal for four 31 10.5 15's shipped to the door was $428.

I had them on my Ranger. Lasted me 60k. I beat em up pretty bad too. A great tire for what it is. I did alot of beach driving (powder sand) and they work great.

I'd get em if I were you.

These tires came on my 2WD '96 when I bought it and they did just fine through winter in Michigan.
