Maybe I should have washed her first. :icon_confused:

:icon_rofl::icon_rofl:

I left the center caps chrome for that reason... too much black. I didn't like them at first but they've grown on me.

I am not big on black rims in general...

Frank, I want some pics.

Its a police Ranger.

Around here with the Ford's unmarked police cars, just look at the wheels. If they are black 16" or 17" wheels with a chrome center cap. Chances are it is a unmarked police car.

On my Ranger. I had chrome wheels before, but the chrome was rusting through. So I bought an exact same wheels, expect brand new. Only to find they also have the same problem. Even with chrome polish every season, they still pit rusted. So I sold them to a member here on the TRS with the Michelin LTX still on them with hardware. I got me a nice set of Explorer's alloys from the CARS program (I might not have been able to save the Explorer, but at least its' death is not all in vain). And installed a new set of Michelin LTX's.

These wouldn't be black but the chrome plates started separating from the steel wheel.

They're from my 98 Ranger.
