My phone quit making and taking calls saturday night. Even with full service. I got it replaced under warrenty, but now it's draining battories like a mofo. Won't hold a charge for longer then 5 hours. Some dude at the store was bitching about the same problem. Happened at the same time.

Something smells funny to me.

It smells like a rich old white dude in a suit's lust for taking the cash out of hard working Amerian's pockets.

Anyone else's phone go nuts last weekend?

I take it you're talking cell phone here?

I have Verizon home phone and internet and I've been having problems with them since day one. Had them for about 2 months now. Everyday my internet connection goes off and on for no apparent reason. I have Sprint for my cell phone. I love the service with them. I used to have Cingular.

I don't use Verizon, but I am kind of upset with Bell...I use a cell phone with pay as you go minutes...but if I get less than $100 worth they expire after a 30 days without ever using them...the $100 plan is good for a year...but I wouldn't use 100 minutes in a year...hopefully!

I just keep it for JUST for emergencies, so I guess I will have to carry a spare card...and not activate it until I need it...

I have been with verizon for going on 13 years now, and only had a problem with one phone. the one I have now ROCKS!!!! (Casio G'zone) the batteries last me anywhere between 3-6 days depending on how much I am on the phone.

as far as your batteries draining goes, check in your manual to find where the bluetooth settings are and make sure that is turned OFF. my mom was having the same problem, and come to find out the damn bluetooth was turned on and the phone kept killing itself looking for a bluetooth device.

if still no luck go back and bitch some more. tell them you want a new battery for it.

I dont use verizon but up here in canada i am with telus and have been noticing alot of problems with their service, it wont send or recieve phone calls either on my cell EVEN WITH FULL BARS. it's starting to aggrevate the shit out of me. I've been with telus for 6 years and never had any problems up until recently.

I've been a verizon customer since 1999.I can't really complain about their service but the their phones that come with most of their plans suck.I can get about a year and a half before having to buy a new one.

i have T-Mobile and just last month alone my razor finally died so i got a new phone, well 4 times i had to replace the sim card beacuse it would recive calls/texts and it wouldnt let me send texts/calls out. no one knos why

i've had verizon cell phones for about 8 years now, and haven't really had any issues with them. used to use nokia phones, now using samsung.

I have Alltel. It's been really good service for me. I also have their wireless broadband in my laptop and I love it.

The wife has Cingular and she has hated it since they were taken over by AT&T. She always loved the crap load of roll over minutes she had. I told if she was accumulating so much roll over, she was paying to much - had to large of a plan.

Now that she hates AT&T she's finally going to switch to Alltel and be added to the plan my son and I are on together. It will save us money all being on the same plan.

the only company I have had problems with was sprint/nextel and even then it was the customer service. I was one of the lucky 1200 dropped by sprint/nextel. now I have centiniel and the only problem I am haveing with them is roaming in Wisconsin and Colorado and the oaklahoma panhandle.

Its always a pain in the ass when you go somewhere out of the way and everyone
that has cingular gets reception while your verizon phone just laughs at you

its all about where ur at, i sold verixon phones for 2 1/2 years, most issues are simple fixes, deal with the smaller non corporate retailers and u will have WORLDS better customer service. Corporate employees have todo everything by the book 100% while franchises can do alot more then the corporate stores can.

as far as your issues, you ahve to power cycle the phone, remove the batter for about 30 seconds, then reinsert the battery, ALSO you will need todo a full charge the first time with a new battery or phone, after u install the new battery you have to use it till its dead, then charge it for a period of 24hrs straight without using it, it solves almost 100% of battery isssues with new batteries
