Any recommendations for a reliable emergency jump starter?

I got a Noco GB50 a few mo ths ago. Seems ok. I can't speak to service life yet. It's not really big enough for my 7.3 powerstroke. But will help it if I hook it up before the main batteries are "too dead".

Sure smells like canned spam.
From what I gather, it is and it isn't, depending on how you want to use it. It is basically a pack of capacitors rather than batteries.

A jump pack will push a charge longer but the amperage output isn't as good as the capacitor pack. Conversely, the capacitors will not be effected by the heat and cold like a battery will.

So, it's kind of a pick your poison kinda deal. Initial reviews seems positive but there is nothing out there as far as long term reviews that I have seen. Until I see some, I'm going to hold off on buying one.

i didn’t mean capacitive systems in general. More like the OP and this specific product.

I maintain the JNC660 is the best pack ever made. Try to toss it on the charger a few times a year and you'll be set.

whatever milwaukee or dewalt that is laying on the floor with the most charge.

It’s a 2019 Ranger XLT. Just wanted to share something that worked for me—no shilling intended. Sorry if it came off as spam.
It's nothing meant to be personal. Forums have been getting hit with a lot of spam and bots the last year or so. More than what it used to be. So, it's easy to get an "itchy trigger finger" because of it.

We have been getting more reported posts and direct messages too from people trying to help. Some are legit spam or scammers, others not. It's part of the moderstor's job, and others are trying to help. But people can get a bit jaded as a result.
