Any ideas for 98 3.0 exhaust?

Straight pipe it, straight up through the hood....

If you want your truck to sound like ass and drone like a mother, straight pipe it. Otherwise put a muffler of some sort on.

haha you guys...i think i am going to my local shop and getting a flowmaster original 40 with a side exit for my 3.0. Ever put your ear up to it stock while running? it's got a real nice rumble hiding in there

yes it does, prob is at high rpms you get this droning effect that you cant stand. have your buddy put it on the floor to about 3k where your powerband starts opening up and listen to it then, youll see exactly what im talking about. the 40 will amplify this noise as well. just wanted to let you know b4 you spent money.

The 44 will probably be a little deeper. Don't worry about the drone too much. It's not really that bad.
