any advice?

Brand for the most part. May be near impossible to find out though. Extended Radious arms? Lift leafs or blocks in the rear? how many miles are on it (est.)?

No it doesn't... I can tell from your avatar pic that you don't have extended radius arms. Even with a 3" body lift or 6" suspension lfit you will still need to trim your fenders. I'm telling you right now it wont be very fun to drive with 35s and stock gears, especially if it's an automatic.

You still would need to change your gears in the axles. And upgrade the axles.

Lets start somwhere else. Why do you want a larger lift, what do you plan on doing with the truck that you think warrants the lift.

hey, to help everybody out, look inside the drivers door nearwhere the latch is ,but on the door, there will be a white sticker in there with all the info for the truck
look for the box that says either gear or axel, and post up the 2 didget # and we'll go from there, that will tell us the gear ratio so we can be sure the truck can actually turn 35 inch tires,
but to be honest, i have just about the same sxact setup you have, but diffrent cab and motor(mine has less power) and my truck can turn my 31s no problem, but i wouldnt trust it with anything bigger in the mud, plus the setup you have now, given you have a good set of tires and the right person at the wheel , you can wheel just as good as if you have 35s

your best bet is to leave it the way it is for now, and save up for good quality parts and when you have everything you'll need , than upgrade

trust me, dont get too deep into trying to upgrade it too quick, it takes allot of work to finish
i have 4 years into my truck so far and im only 17

I will give you a quick list of the modifications I am doing to my 97' to allow me to comfortably run 35's.

Front Axle-D35
Rear Axle-8.8
6 inch suspension lift
4.88 gears

That is the bare minimum, I am looking for performance as well so I have a lot of little things added.

just remember if I am not mistaken any ranger 92 or older has smaller fender wells, so what may work on a 97 may not work on a older model (ie. you made need another couple of inches to compensate.) Sorry, just my thought but figured I would throw it out there or even suggest trying 33's so you get a little extra height without all the add-ons to fit 35's.

Thanks for the advice yall.... I think Im just gonna put 33s on it and maybe add an extra 2 inches to the suspension lift.
