Another timing Q .... this one should be EZ!

So this is my 2nd time doing a timing belt on a 4banger Ranger... cept this one is a 96 XL 2.3 2wd project i picked up and did 0/2 drop. It finally turned over and i had it running...but sounded kinda crappy, my first time hearing it this at all...so not too sure lol
My question,

Sounding like that, its something off by a tooth?

gave it a little throttle and it sounded ok, I DID NOT give it time to get oil pumped throughout though....so maybe thats it?? was kinda a ticking noise..

dark out now, will finish project tomarrow..any thoughts let me know..

mine sounded like that as well u just have to wait til the oil goes back up to the valves i think let it run for a while it should fix it self
