my question is this does anyone one know of a kit that replaces the guides/tensioners with metal peices instead of the crappy plastic ones that were part of the original problem.

i ordered my parts from rockauto the other day, at a much higher price than other kits from ebay, and discount auto parts websites thinking that i would get a higher quality part. well i was looking at the parts, and they use that same crappy plastic. that im sure will wear just as fast as the original parts.

do i just have to use the cloyes parts i bought and pray they last.

ive skimmed over that as well, the proble it lists the ford replacements, and the cost is astronomical. im just going to send the cloyes parts back, and order it from carquest i thing.

EDIT: nevermind, carquest is expensive. i guess rockauto was the cheap parts.
