New to this site but not Rangers. Have my third Ranger, a 2001 Off Road, X-cab with all the bells and whistles. Even got heated leather seats. Previous were a '94 regular cab 4X4 and a '99 X-cab Off Road. Haven't modded it yet. But do have an under drive pulley I need to install. Also located several Mark VIII's that till have the fan in tact. So I might do both at the same time.
And I do have the timing chain rattle. Tried to get Ford to fix it, but they declined. Out of warrantee.
