Another FNG

Well i got the heads and lower intake on tonight
Tomorrow is timing and upper intake and fix the passenger manifold big detour on price I spent all the lockout money on gaskets and oil and other BS but still waiting on the lift so it's :icon_idea:and :icon_cheers:but with one of these man :icon_pepsi:

Lol, nice. I got all the front suspension torn down last night. Also removed the front diff, drained it, put the cover back on, put the differential back up in the truck with the drop brackets on it, boy that was a bitch doing it myself with a jack with a small cup on it, not alot for the board to rest on and the diff to rest on the board. And i assembled the lower control arm drop brackets loosely. Ordered all new moog tie rod ends, ball joints, and upper control arms. :icon_hornsup: Today is my day off!

Oh yea, tomorrow, i'm going to try and find a couple axle half shaft main seals that go on the hubs that the cv shaft snugs into. And then im going to solve my little bump-stop problem. i bought the whole front suspension of an explorer with the lift on it so i tore it apart sandblasted and repainted it all. the guy torched the bumpstops off the frame of the explorer so im going to grind em down the leftover bolt ends and weld some bolts onto the end of it and paint em and put em on :icon_thumby: Just waitin for my parts to get here pretty much and i can go to town!

damn, that sucks, man, where did you order it from? I got what i wanted done, new parts should be here tomorrow *crosses fingers*

NTW national tire wheel

Hmm, never heard of em. I'm at a standstill, my damn parts came in but my balljoints will not press out. I am gonna make some calls to see if theres some place around here that i can bring the control arms and have them press em out, this blows.

You can rent the tool from a parts store, you pay deposit and get it back when done, you will need the tool to press them in unless you are having trouble with the tool it self try using a torch also.

Yea, I rented the tool from Vatozone, no luck, im dropping them off at a local shop with the new ball joints and they said they'll do it for a reasonable price.

nice lookin F-150, man. I made some good progress after i got the lower control arms back and then when i was assembling the drivers side, smacking the upper control arm into the knuckle with a hammer and a piece of wood, my left hand was holding the piece of wood and i slipped and ended up hitting my left index finger full force. went to the doc today and got an xray and it was broke, so now the project is on hold for a day or 2, coulda been worse tho, lol
