Android Office

I have an igsigna 10.1 tablet running Android 4.1.1
I downloaded Android office and am disapointed. I need an Office app that will allow me to create and edit .rtf documents.

thinking about taking it back and getting a surface rt because it comes with office and a keyboard.... and is 32 gig.

Android Office blows along with all other office apps for android, not paying $130 for microsoft office which is the only office app I can find that does what i need reliably so I returned the insignia tablet and got the ASUS T100T windows tablet which comes with office 2013 and keyboard with a full size usb port.

I haven't been paying attention to tablets much due to their size and the touch screen keyboards...didn't know they had external keyboard options...but I thought most of them came loaded with office programs...

Do you need rtf documents for ease of printing or transferring to other apps? I know Wordpad can create rtf docs and what I often did was send myself the documents as rtf docs via e-mail and then print them on public access computers in a local library...

Mark.... this Asus tablet is completely awesome. except its win8.1 and not android
