Andres629's still at it! '87 BII this time!

You didn't tell me your shop was in space Andrew:D

Yayyyyy. Andrew, thanks for the pics. Getting me even more stoked! :headbang:

so how much lift are you going to try and get into this thing? or do you want to leave it as low as you can

I'm going to try and get only 1-2" more lift than I currently have, so... 5-6" over stock. But I plan on going up to a 37-38. Likely a 38, so that's about an extra 1.5" from what I have now.

will look killer when done.....

and a low COG is always good.....

l8r, John

I'm going to definitely try and keep it wider than it is tall. Right now it's 71" ground to roof and 75 ish wide. I think once the full-width stuff is on it, looking at ~77 wide or so with 8" wide beadlocked steelies... I'd really like to NOT lift anymore other than what the tires give me... we'll see.

Yeah it's do-able, mine is 77" tall and 79" wide and 98" wheel base. I'd actually like to loose some height at some point too. Redisign of the rear suspension and a v8 swap should take care of the height tho, lol. I'm looking to loose an inch or 2 if possible.

I'd like to lose some height now... once 38's go on there, it's going to gain a couple inches of height... I would like to keep it at the 73-74" high mark. The arms I'm getting from Andrew, when mounted in the spot he designed them for, will push the front end forward 3". But the rear end sucks... stupid tub. :annoyed:

i want 33's and my truck about the height it is now..
mine is at 73 right now. i wanna keep it about that.

You can get a couple inches out of the rear just by re-drilling the leaf perch on the axle, then trim the fender a bit.

Re-drilling the perch? Say wha?

I vote you cut the tub out like that one a few pages back then patch it back in. He's on 42s and seems like it's nice and low

get on summit and order some tubs, cut that shit and weld them in
