I won't. I gonna start today. I have to get a jack for my cherry picker so I can get it on my motor stand and out of the back of my truck, for $40.00, it did come with one, but the 3 and 8 ton jacks are on sale for $49.00 and it was missing the front two casters. But 40 for the picker, 49 for the jack and the casters are on sale for 3.99 a peice, I think I did pretty good 149 dollar cherry picker for 98. bucks! I'll start taking pics today.

Didn't have bolts long enough to put it on the engine stand last night, so it's in the garage on a tire till I get to the hardware store today. Now I can take the heaping mound of trash off that's been there for a week, Im sure my neighbors will thank me! LOL

Pictures sure help, made me remember that that block should be, if original, the five bolt one. Ever check the casting number on the block, right above where the starter mounts? Might limit your options on transmissions or cost to go with O/D. Other thing that came to mind is the harmonic dampener is the three bolt, not the four bolt common later on. Think FRPP might have the right one.

289 update*****

We'll I took it to the machine shop about a month ago and they bored 40 and put a cam in it with roller rockers. $1400.00. Then the said the heads were worn out, but they were Hi Po so I said go ahead and do them, $300.00 more so we're at $1700.00 so far and I still have to buy motor mounts and electric fan and all the swap over stuff. Man this stuff ain't cheap. But I got a double hump oil pan off a fox body and headers and 2 40 series flow masters. So I am a little closer now!
