And so it begins...

Hey now! LOL. No, engine is gone. Work, play and lazy are setting in! I'll get there. I tend to work in spurts.

I have the 9" housing. I need to clean it, burn off the old spring mounts, set the pinion angle and tack the new spring mounts on. Then, I need to swap the guts out of the old housing into the new one and put it under the truck. Then the fun begins on the front...

Well, you guys shamed me into working a bit yesterday. Got the 9" housing mostly cleaned up. Found out my Hobart plasma cutter is too weak to burn off the old spring mounts. They are wide enough I should be able to leave them in place to tack on the new mounts and I'll finish burning off the old ones later. Now! To set the pinion angle and tack the new mounts!

Progress?????????????

No progress yet. He had a little mishap with his plane. Hopefully he will be working on it again soon.

I'm great. Not a scratch. Plane wasn't so lucky and is taking a lot of work to repair (read time/money). I'll get going on the truck soon... I hope!

Snow I thought was a few inches deep ended up being a few feet deep. Broke the crust and flipped. My bad.

Its about time you start this. I have been waiting forever to see those coilovers under there. Anymore progress?
