There was a group of 6 or 7 grown men (I feel its important to make that distinction) that use to dress up in full blown wizard costumes and go down to the canal and "play". They would throw rocks at each other and hit each other with their wizard sticks and pretend to cast spells on each other. I walked down there to go fishing once and stumbled right into the middle of one of their sessions. I can deal with gang bangers, crack heads, angry hobos, you know typical New Jersey people but I draw the line at wizards. I got the eff out of there in a hurry.

They went from creepy to downright deranged after a while. They had eventually made a whole section of the woods into lord of the rings nonsense. Spells and crap carved in the trees, weird little dolls hanging everywhere, a big stone pentagram fireplace etc. Haven't seen them in a few years. I'd like to think they finally concluded their games one day with a blood orgy and murdered each other.
