Got the 4600 series Bilstien monotubes in yesterday. They were listed as fitting 1990s OBS F250/F350 front. Lined them up this morning as rear shocks on my 88. Eye bolts are the right diameter, but thanks to the factory lift blocks on my rear axle, and my asinine 1750lb rear springs, they only have 1/2" of downward travel. Oh well. They were $15 each. Sending them back for the other cheap-o ones on amazon to see if they fit.

Ive been doing that lately with random stuff I find for under ten bucks. I found a CV axle from a pontiac vibe for 5 bucks. Sold it on ebay for 40.
