almost to the dark side

I will never go over to the dark side!

I have alway's been a ford owner, But they are just not offering anything for the off road side of 4x4's, Some nice looking units with lots of fluff but no real meat.

no manual transfer cases ( all electric) nothing with d44 axels, nothing with lockers, nothing with disconnects, nothing with sas at all. the choices are very limited. I have more use for a SUV over a pickup. But i did look at a lot of trucks.

My job put's me in mud every day, right now we are over a mile from pavement, and by the time i get this one done it will be over 5 miles, carpet it not a good match, everything ford has out there has carpet. in the suv line, mounting a winch on the new SUV's are limited. Jeep has a full line of winch mount bumpers. none carpets floors, drain holes for washing out the mud. the after market choices for toys and goodies are unlimited for jeeps.

I never thought i would buy a jeep, but knowing what i want for an off road 4x4 they are about the only ones that really offer anything,
