Almost 18!!!!!

Man when I was 18 I used to look at the older guys, the ones who were 25ish and think, those perverts, looking at the late teenage girls..

The other day I got to thinking.. Man I am old enough to be one of those perverts!

One thing is for sure, I wouldn't want my birthday that close to christmas, makes it too easy for you family when it comes to gifts.

Shit I turned 18 over a year ago now. I really haven't exorcized any of my "18Yr/old rights". Other than work as many hours as I want, buy a couple guns and no curfew (law curfew, parents never gave me a curfew). I do exorcize that "21yr/old right" occaisionaly (every couple months) but I do so responsibly.

I wish I could remember turning 18! and as for the O.P. we share the same day, exactly one week before Christmas.

It's all good though, I just got my B-day/Christmas present in the mail yesterday and started putting it all together today. Gonna installed my new radio in the truck tomorrow!! I can't wait to hear tunes from an upgraded aftermarket head unit.

Yeah I'll be 19 in a little while, and I've excercised my rights a few times... smoked a little bit, and gambled. I have no need or desire for porn, and I've never really had a curfew. Its kinda cool, but the cool factor will fade after a bit. But hey then you'll be 21.

the thing is that i don't actually own any cars, not looking forward to paying for insurance for 4 cars, and being 18, OH MY GOD!! especially the cars i have, my have to get rid of 1 or 2

im 18 1/2 and well the only good things were driveing,wheeling on my own, and comeing home whenever. i dont drink nor smoke, and even the whole driveing thing isnt exciteing for me anymore. i invsest in my inshurence,gas,work on my trucks, phone bill and school...and the added stress of "bing all growed up" those are the only things diffrent, i cant be a care free teenager anymore, im on my way to becomeing a man lol and who knows maybe one day a husband to a lucky lady and a father to some kids of my own.

Holy crap! My Ranger is going on 16. Now let me try to remember back that far......When I was 18....Oh yea I had hair! No wife! No Kids! No career! Whew, I scared myself. You have a lot of livin' left. Enjoy yourself responsibly. Don't procreate before your ready. Start saving money for old age now. Don't wait till your 45 like I did.
