the Definity Dakota A/T is a clone of the BFG tread for less money.
 
bfg at ko's are fantastic! i have a LS rear and 2wd and can go just about anywhere. with these tires i have yet to be stuck.

He said it before I could. We run a fleet of over 200 pickups in Alberta alone, and all factory tires get replaced with these for field service trucks, the Silent Armor/ATS for office staff.

Best AT tires I've ever had the chance to run, the BFG's might hold up under a ranger (they did under mine) but they fail miserably under anything heavier.
 
I am about to pick up some General Grabber At2's, i have read nothing bad about them and they are significantly cheaper than BFG's. If you have the money, you cant go wrong with BFG's tho.

I am at 20k on my AT2's. 2/32nds of wear and that is with a lift and spotty rotations. Plus a ton of high speed highway miles.
 
BFG KO tires!!!! I am on my second set since 2001 and I love them. Lots of tread left over on my first set and I still got a great price when I sold them to a Jeep girl!!! She still has them on her Jeep Wrangler. Thees have been on my
Ranger for almost f years now. Smooth riding, greast handling and quite tread design!!! Not the best if you are a mudder and spent a lot of time in the goo!!

my honest opinion on tires, get the tires that are going to work best, don't skimp out because something is cheap, ESPECIALLY if these are your street tires, you do NOT want to a)wear them out prematurely because there is lots of spin, and b) cheap out and have something that's going to put your safety into jeopardy...
 
hey dixie, who makes those rims? they are like beefy alcoas!

It a Pacer 164. Same exact thing as a Mickey Thomspon Classic II, but way cheaper. But if you held one up to a MT, you wouldnt be able to tell a difference
 
Leveling kit and 33's? So basically you're gonna crank your t-bars to the stops, BAD idea. You'll want to run 31's and crank the suspension so it's just level, no more. If you want to lift your truck, you really should consider a set of lift spindles or something. When you run stock joints at close to the top of your travel, you're using the parts in ways they are not designed to, and you'll top out the suspension constantly - leading to worn out balljoints and axles in no time flat. Research the best way to raise up your truck, or leave it stock height.

BFG AT's are some of the most over rated AT tires out there. Yes, they look great, only tire that comes with solid white letters. But they're expensive as hell, only moderately good offroad, and like was said before, don't hold up well on full size+ trucks. BFG MT's will do great off road, but will SU*K in snow and ice.

The GY Wrangler Duratrac is a MUCH better choice. Their tread pattern is much more modern and looks are second to none. They're still pricey though, but well worth it. MTR's are also a superior mud tire.

best for the price though is going to be Tread Writes. They have a BFG clone and an MTR clone that are amazing off road and are usually about half the price.

I sell tires every day to people and have researched AT tires at length to improve my salesmanship. I also offroad regularly. I know what I'm talking about..

Well, what exactly are you doing if you are not cranking the t-bars or buying a proper lift kit? If it's something someone told you that you can do for cheap, they probably mean new torsion keys, which is also known as cranking your torsion bars, except you can crank them farther - bad for your ball joints and axles.
