Hello all,
I have a quick question regarding adjustable bushings and the specs necessary for proper alignment. I recently took my 1994 Ranger 2wd Splash in for an alignment, and these specs came back:
Left: Camber: -2.1 deg
Caster: 5.6 deg
Toe: 0.01 deg
SAI:11.4 deg
Inc. Angle: 9.4 deg
Right: Camber: -2.5 deg
Caster: 6.0 deg
Toe: 0.00 deg
SAI: 11.6
Inc Angle: 9.0 deg
Cross Camber: 0.5 deg
Cross Caster: -0.3 deg
Cross SAI: -0.1 deg
Total Toe -0.01 deg
I replaced all the ball joints and rubber bushings a couple years ago, and I am now trying to finish my truck so I can actually drive it. I also replaced the beams so I could swap everything across and minimize the downtime, and I do not immediately recall what the original bushing specs were....
May I use the dual-axis bushings Napa sells or do I have a larger issue? These bushings show a 4 deg range positive or negative, but when I looked in the chart provided with the bushings it said do not adjust beyond -2 deg...just need to verify if I should use these....thanks!
