al4d trans swap question

I honestly can't see why it would be a problem.

Perhaps he was referring to A4LD's in general, seeing as how they are not very reliable transmissions. (in case you didn't notice, many have a "hate-on" for the A4LD!)

yea i know i have the same trans in my truck, luckily i have band aided it to hold up for now, till i throw the 35's on. im gonna we gonna try to swap the 92 trans in and see what happens, he pulled the pan on his and had metal and copper or brass pieces in it so its shot

I have a /93 Ranger 2wd 4.0 L , I see in this thread that a 90-94 A4LD will drop into it. Will a tranny from a 3.0 L of the same years drop in as well? Looking to replace mine or buy a replacement to rebuild. Any suggestions on options would be a plus. Not sure if this should be a new thread or not but could use the direction.
