Okay so I know that everyone likes the stock cold air intake set up. I do too. But I have a problem, my intake tube is rotting and I don't know how much longer wrapping it up with Duct tape will work. lol

Does anyone know where to pick up another tube? Does someone make a replacement tube or am I going to have to build will all custom?:icon_hornsup:

Any Ideas will be appreciated! :icon_cheers:

Okay, so no local parts places have one. I went up to O'Reilly's and picked up a Spectre intake tube that is bendable into the position you need it in. The only problem is it doesn't have the small nipple that that small hose that comes off the oil fill up thing connects too.

Is that the CCV and does it hurt not having that piped into the intake hose?

By the way, all I did was replace that old tube. I retained the stock air box and cold air intake.:icon_hornsup:

Just drill holes for them, nothing special. When made my intake ducting i used a intake tube from a foxbody 5.0 ( It attached to the TB, then turned 90 degrees, and then it could flex downward), and a 5" long piece of 3" stainless, then used 2 3" pipe clamps. It looks nice and not all fancy looking, i had a similar problem, only mine was torn somehow near the throttle body. Good luck. :icon_thumby:

make sure that oil tube is plugged with something if not into the intake, or ur oil will turn to shit very fast by sucking in dirt
