air box

Will the air box from a 1993 explorer with a 4.0 work in a 1992 ranger with the 4.0 i just need to know if they are the same because the tabs are broke off my air box on my 1992.

It might, but I don't remember offhand at what point they started putting round air filters in Explorers...

Those would probably work too I suppose...

I put an airbox from a 92 Explorer in my 88 BII with no fit issues.
