After the muffler

if i cut my pipe say 2 inches after the output from my muffler will this do anything to anything? other than just get the pipe out of my way.

It will make it rumble a shit ton assuming its that 40 series in your sig and exhaust gases are supposedly fairly corrosive and will make the underside rust faster.

if u do this u will want to run a dump as to get the gasses out from under the truck, u will have more of a rumble as it is to be expected, the shorter the pipe after the muffler the louder it will be, but also expect in cab noise to be quiet annoying.

Not Good Loud rumble. Crappy sound.
Flowmasters sound way better with a pipe after them. I have tried both on my truck.

The rumble itself was really cool, set off car alarms just by backing out of parking spaces, the sound wasn't as nice though. After a week of rumble it started to drive me crazy with the vibration... Even a short turndown after the muffler will eliminate 85% of the rumble.
