Ok first does the computer use the water temp or oil pressure.

Next where to put the water temp bung at and where to get oil

Which engine? I put an oil pressure gauge on my 4.0 last month and just had to add a tee.

Computer doesn't monitor oil pressure
Computer has a separate water temp "sensor" called the ECT, it has 2 wires hooked to it, the dash temp gauge uses a 1 wire "sender" to get temp.

Yes, you will need to locate the oil pressure sender on the block and add a "T" if you want to add a "real" oil pressure gauge, then small tube from "T" to gauge inside cab.
You can also use a PS60 oil pressure sender, Ford used these for many years when they had "semi-real" oil pressure gauges, this would be for an electric gauge, but not the stock gauge if it was setup for oil pressure switch, i.e. always reads "normal" pressure, doesn't go up and down with temp or RPM.

The water temp sensor is in the drivers side of the block, above and to the right of the oil filter. The oil pressure sensor is on the side of the head, just above the water temp sensor. They both are one-wire sensors. The oil pressure switch will have a black bakelite{plastic of a sort} section between the center connector and the outer shell that screws into the engine. One is a R/G color code and the other ... old age memory fade. Sorry.
