Affordable, heavy duty, waterproof totes.

The name is misleading

If you would that would be awesome. I don't mind paying a bit of a premium to turn it into a 'buy once, cry once' situation.

I’ll have to do some digging. The place I thought had them, has something different. I’ll throw up their store link just so you can take a gander at.

Considering there's not much worse than having to carry heavy crap around on vacation.. those rolling boxes are quite appealing
I have 2 of those rolling boxes, it's a life saver, especially with how bad my back is lately(I've been using 'em while camping, so I can just throw in a bunch of small gear like my tent poles, sleeping bag, haflinger slippers and all the tools and just roll it on the ground instead of carrying it all on my back) :D

I was honestly surprised how well the thing has held up. Usually the wheels are the weak point on these kinds of containers; not these.

I found the boxes I was looking for. I'm not sure if they are the right size but they are dust and water proof as well as impact resistant.

Thank you! Those aren't too terribly priced at all. I'd really rather not go digging around on overlanding websites... dangerous business... but I may have to now just to see what else is out there lol. Damn.

The 2nd of the last two I posted was Ronny Dahl/ 4 wheeling Australia.

The first one was Overland Bound.

I’ve got a few of the Plano Sportsman trunks from Home Depot. I added a strip of weatherstripping into the channel on the top (also Home Depot). They’re pretty strong and now waterproof.

Might be a little out of your price range but I just picked up a clone of a military pelican case and have been really happy with its build quality and it does seal quite nicely. The big issue with me was finding someone who ships them because they aren't small.

Nanuk makes really nice cases, very similar to pelican, but they’re not cheap.

The one I have is made by PSI cases and was a lightly used unit, was 74 bucks if I remember right. I've also heard of the style case I have referred to as a hardigg case.

Ah. I like the diy aspect, never would of thought of that.

Doesn't Harbor Freight sell a line of Pelican case knock offs?

Yes, but I think they only have a couple sizes. Small one, handgun case size.
Larger one is about 18”x30”. Still a bit small.
