I've yet to have a fleet of vehicles that use the same of anything outside of the engine oil. Thank God at least that is the same. It makes oil changes much more economical and simpler.

The little lady just learned that her new toy (hybrid) takes special hybrid oil too.... LOL. (the frequent start/stop cycle of the hybrid is very hard on the engines, and they want higher zddp, but with a cat they can't so it is some bastardized expensive ass formula)

My 2019 like that with the brake fluid. DOT4 LV or some such nonsense. I had to special order the crap since no one carries it and the 2019 is long over due for a brake system flush.

The varieties of coolants should be reduced. Why do they still sell the original green silicate coolant for pre-2000 vehicles when Zerex G05 can be used in place of it, last longer, provide better protection, and transfer more heat?

first rule of marketting "Invent a need, then fullfill it" why do you think there is a "born on" date on the bottom of your beer - convince the masses beer has a short shelf life and drive them to buy yours cause yours is green and nasty as all hell but you've brainwashed em into wanting green beer.

I didn't even think about coolant, but yeah the little lady's hybrid has two different reservoirs for coolant and per the (used car) dealer it's two different fluids - both pink, have not researched or looked it up in the manual, but I see valvoline has a "hybrid" coolant in their lineup...

We have two stores closing here in my town, so i drove over to check it out. Oddly, nothing for any of my vehicles but oil and filters.

So i got all the oil and filters they had for 40 bucks. She rang it up amd it came out to 200 but after the discount, 40 bucks
