adding sound deadening


Did you do under the rear window? What is the thickness of the sheets you used?

Its good to know it works so well, I am planning to do this (to the doors, roof, and rear of the cab) as well as the speaker baffles.
 
i did do a strip underneath the rear window, where the steel panel attaches with the 6 small screws. i would have done the back wall but with the way i mounted my amps i would have had to remove a mess of shit to get to the panel, and it may not have made a difference im my case.

i guess theres still some metal that could use some coverage, but unless i decide to change the main RCA cable thats been giving me trouble, i dont plan on opening that mess up anytime soon.

Do you know about how many sq-ft you used?
 
Im not really sure, i used 4 sheets that were 24"x36" and then i bought 2 more to do the front floor pans, which i havent gotten to yet.

Wow that's going to be a lot. i need to find a cheap outlet, on Ebay its looks like its about $125 for 100 sq ft.
