Definitely true. Around here, its gotten so bad that they've been having ad's on the TV and radio to promote watching out for bikers. Just about a month ago or so, a drunk driver killed 4 of them on the interstate... at 8am... with a BAC over nearly 4x the limit. Its dangerous out there, even more so on a bike, stay safe everybody!

I think that was about bac in August. The guy stopped to get more at a gas station shortly before the crash and could barely walk, doesn't remember a thing about it. Just got his breathalizer thing removed for good behavier. Bad thing all around, a guy I work with was friends with one of the guys.

+1. Stupidity, pure and simple. No sympathy for those hurt/killed if a helmet could have prevented it.

When it comes being ran over by an SUV, I think don't know how much it would have helped. I am all for them, but I don't think it would have made a whole lot of a difference in this case.

Wtf... he should be in jail awaiting his trial for quadruple motor vehicle homicide... among other charges...

It like my old friend who got killed by a DUI driver.

Well there were 6 kids on the ATV (INCLUDING HER)...yeah it was dumb for them to do that...

DUI driver coming down the highway...they were on the highway with the ATV (dumb...I wish they would have thought)....

In the end....body parts were everywhere...kid was in the grille....kids died bleeding to death and some died on impact. Only 1 survived... (my friend died).

Woman driving got a charge I think but was let go...from what I remember it was the kids fault too for being on the ATV with 6 passengers and on the highway.


People's got to stop drinking and driving and also people need to stop being careless and not have 1+ people on the atv (I know 2 can get on but be careful)..
