i have a 94 ranger 4.0 and the pulley on the compressor sezied!! Is it "easier" to get the elimiator pully and ditch the compressor? If i go this route what do i do with the lines that go into the compressor?? Thanks

i have been serching around and i saw that i could just unplug the compressor and no more squeal would this affect my defroster in the winter? thanks

Yes, but seeing as how there are millions of cars without AC, I wouldn't worry about affecting defrost.

would it fix my problem to just replace the clutch? I figured to dump the compressor because i just rool down the windows for cool air but i don't have a way to get rid of the freon. Also is there a tool to replace the clutch with or just a matter of unbolt and install? Thanks

No need to wory aboyut "freon" as your truck never had it.

1994 Fords *and many 1993's) were factory filled with R134a which isn't "freon"
