Having an issue with the ABS light coming on and speedometer not working.

A few weeks ago the speedometer started jumping around and the ABS light would come on and there was a loss of engine power at the same time.

Now the ABS light stays on all the time and the speedo doesn't work at all. There is no sense of engine power loss anymore or it just doesn't surge anymore sinse the ABS light is on all the time.

I have replaced the VSS sensor in the rear diff. and I also checked resistance at the plug in the attached photo( the on with the green and red wires ). I am assuming this is the RABS plug. I got .688 ohms of resistance.

What else should I be checking, any info would be greatly appreciated.

Also, a little more info.

A few weeks prior to the light coming on and the speedo acting up, I would here a clicking noise coming from the area around the master cylinder, that general area, not the master itself. Now that the light is on and the speedo isn't working, I don't hear that noise anyore.

Turned out that the red wire had some how got pinched or something because right above the axle where the wire heads over to the frame, the black plastic wire loom was all brittle and broken and the wire had a nick in it and did not have contiunuity.

The weird part was that I had approx. .680 ohms of resistance at the RABS connector with the open circuit, I would think it would have been something else.

But at any rate, now I have approx. 1 ohm of resistance at the RABS connector, and everything works again.
