A4LD rebuild

I've heard a lot of talk about hard part change out when rebuilding a A4LD transmission. Just what parts are they talking about? My transmission is in a 94 Mazda B3000.

Basically it's replacement of all the known weak parts (other then bands/clutches/seals) that are known to fail. Replacement of internal springs for ones that do not break easily, Use of torrington bearings instead of thrust washers...etc..

To be blunt, if you're gonna tear an A4LD apart? You'd be better off upgrading the internals with the redesigned parts to save the headache later.
