A4LD fluid leaking up front at 75MPH

Hello all,

I have a problem that seems to erupt on the freeway at around 75, which is 2900-3000 area RPM, it was dripping out and slinging onto the exhaust, when I got off the freeway and the RPM's dropped accordingly, the problem went away, washed it off, put some good sealer in to replace what I lost, and seemed ok now, but I have figure it out as I need to go on the freeway and not worry about blowing it out again.

overfilled it maybe, did that on a old truck and it spewed out

No Over fill, just a problem at the higher RPM range, I took the back road from East Mesa back to Tucson, and it worked fine, but I went 55-60 all the way.

Any other possibilities?

These tranny's circulate the oil from the pump through the cooler and supply the tran's. The more(high RPM's) oil plus any kind of resistance in the cooling system(kinked line,plugged inline filter) this puts pressure on the back of the input seal also called pump seal which causes the leak.If you don't solve this problem what it does is pushes the seal out all the way and your A pedestrian standing in A puddle of oil beside the highway yea it happened to me.

Ahh, very good idea to check out, I did upgrade my radiator, but as far as the cooling lines, I will blow them out and check the flow through the radiator.

If you have a plugged vent line the trans will spew fluid out the front seal.

Various insects like making little nests in the metal vent line
