A stupid question I can never seem to remember the answer to...


in the medical field, we call this the "anatomical" left and right. the person you are examining it is their 'left', but as you are facing them, it is your 'right'. therefore we always refer to the patients 'left' and 'right' as if we, the medical professional, were in their body looking out.
so, always position yourself in the car looking out and that is the 'left' and 'right' of the vehicle.

That's how it always works here. Any serious posts I make get two or three mediocre replies. If I post something stupid it spirals out of control. :icon_cheers:
 
Well, something like this merely requires basic knowledge and an opinion. All of the opinion threads blow up like crazy.

Personally, I just quickly browse the threads near the top of each page & General Discussions. I also don't post knowledge about transfer cases or transmission compatibility, welding, or stupid weird running/engine problems. Everything else, if I see it, I'll help as best as I can.

It's all a luck of the draw with who's on that day. *shrug* Bump your threads...
