A-Pillar Grab Handles (2003 Regular Cab)

I procured a lovely 2003 Regular Cab Edge Manual 3.0L yesterday and am taking stock of all the needed repairs.

Just about the only thing I can't find is a grab handle. My truck has plastic grab handles on both A-Pillars, except the passenger side is missing. Trim and holes are there, just no handle.

Does anyone know how to find these? I've searched everywhere I can think to find them with no luck (including this forum).

Post a parts wanted ad in the classifieds forum here on the site.

You're likely to find used one in the scrap yard.

I took my driver's side one off to use an A-pillar gauge pod. Not sure if they're the same side to side but if they are... I think i have the one i removed.

they are the same side to side.
I also found an older Taurus ceiling handle that fit but was not a color match.
Ranger ceiling handles too.
too cheap for yards to list, you'll have to go look yourself.
get the screws too.

if searching yards online look for a door. the picture might also show the pillar/handle.

for a new part, try a 2009-2010 at Ford. they are possibly the same part.

Yeah, the grab handles are the same side to side and same as all the Ranger (83-11) and Explorer (91-01) ceiling grab handles I’ve come across. Bronco IIs also used the same grab handles.

Thanks for the help everyone. Thanks to Uncle Gump I have been able to find one. Now I just have 1 more question that might save me some time...

What is the diameter, thread pitch, and length of the screws that hold the grip handle to the pillar?

I am sure I can trial and error my way to the right answer, but why not ask first.

Pull one out of the driver side handle and take it with you. Not sure of the size... thread pitch or length.

I do know I used a 5.5mm socket to remove them

Just to close the loop on this.

I got the passenger side mounted today. If anyone is curious, the screws are M4x0.7 and I believe I bought 20mm long and used a washer on each.
