This school is 60% gettin dirty and 40% lectures and labs.

It trains to certify for a Master Tech. in all 8 fields.

Job placement is over 85%

I keep my tools

I get to use the shop and tools the rest of my life for free

I can take any new/updated classes for the rest of my life for free

It's 18 months for auto, or diesel, or 24 for auto and diesel

ya, mine is 60/40 too, buy my own tools and its 100% placment. There is a HUGE demand for Tech's im my field. So, whats a master Tech? And what are "all 8 fields" ? Just woundering what they are teachin over there. My training was engines, both gas and diesel, but concentraited mainly on diesels. Mobil electrical systems. Hydraulics, Electronic Engine managment and powertrains.

it sounds like you have a great opportunity at both schools and if you can go find a shop or dealer to sponser you that would be the best thing. many of them are looking for skilled mechanics and are willing to pay your tuition if you are willing to agree to work for them for certain number of years afterwards. if you are completely shure you want to be a mechanic of some kind you can do research and find good education for cheap from grants, sponsors, etc. the community school isent a bad place to start if you arent 100% shure of what you want to do for the rest of your life.
