My truck has a/c kind of, the previous owner removed the pump(I think it is) so am just wondering if I should remove the rest of the sytem cause I don't plan on fixing it. Or should I just not bother and just leave every thing there, cause it does take up some space and would make removing plus easier and such. Also how much work is involved in doing this.

you can remove most everything without much trouble.... next time you pull the radiator for something pull the condenser. pull the drier and the hoses now. leave the evaporator in the heater box...

Yea, if you remove the evaporator, you have to get a non-A/C fan/heater housing to replace it. Gives you lots more room under the hood though and saves a few pouds.

So I can remove everything except the big thing attached to the firewall that makes it hard to get to the #3 plug. What about vacuum lines if there is any I have not looked into this in detail and also sorry for not knowing what the parts are.
