My A/C continuously Starts and stops all of the time during the winter I unplug the compressor. Has anyone else had this problem? Oh it's on a 1994 4x4 extended cab XLT.

That's pretty normal in cold temps. When in the 20 degree range... r134a doesn't even create enough pressure to close the clutch cycling switch. As the engine warms the engine bay and A/C lines and what not... that raises the pressure in the system. Then the switch closes... engages the clutch. But the suction of the compressor quickly lowers the pressure... clutch disengage.

Gauge if there is truly a problem with your system when its hot and humid.
