Yeah the question is a bit vague. I did a swap with a 2001 Ex 5.0 into a Ranger. Not sure if you planned on staying SBF of the same field and frame compatible component family?

I’m just about to start the Same project 96 ranger 2000 mountaineer doner the PATS is what I’m worried about. I swapped a 92 dodge van drive train into a 77 dodge van I just used the whole 92 harness it was fun went from a 318 2 barrel to a 318 magnum fuel injected
