99 ranger 3.0 to 4.6l engine

Does anybody have any info on the possibility of swapping an eight cyl. 4.6l or 5.0l whichever is easier into a 99 Ranger? Just wondering if it is possible and what it might take to do the job.

5.0s are a semi common swap. 4.6s aren't the case, but there is one member on here (281Ranger I believe) who has done it. 4.6s are very wide.
