I am trying to find out what years if any can I swap the heads with. I had a 99 mountaineer 4.0 I had one valve come in contact with the block/piston so I want to swap my head just to make sure all is good. Trying to save this engine just had all new everything put on didn’t realize it had piston contact until I was deep in her. I would like to either find some used heads for it and get them re worked or find some good ones at the yard and have them cut. Please any help is appreciated. I also have a 2000 ranger I have been keeping alive as well. Love my little fords.
