99 ford ranger auto hubs missing o rings.

ok so I am troubleshooting my 4wd and found out the oring that seals the auto hubs for vacuum are gone. anyone know where i can get them or what size they are so i can go find them? thanks everyone.

Take a hub to a well stocked auto parts store, perhaps they can match it, failing that go to a Ford dealer.

I'm going to hit up the junk yard and see if they have any rangers there I can get them off of in good shape. Might get an extra set of the hubs in case mine go bad or r bad

If your thinking of going to Ford for O rings. I buy my Ford parts from Tousley Ford. 10% over cost. I'll be glad to post more info if anyone's interested

I dont know if you saw this but the tech library has a nice writeup about the hubs http://www.therangerstation.com/tech_library/HubDiagnosis.html I think a lot of people just swap over to the manuals to solve the issue long term

yeah i seen that. i want to try to keep it cheap right now. if i cant find them then i will get the manual hubs or just use these as manuals.

I guess u can make the stock hubs into manual hubs.

I've seen the posts, you remove the outer cap,cut out the screen and plastic ribs, then poke your finger in and give them a click. The action is like the button on a ballpoint....click locked/click unlocked.
I just coughed up the dough for manuals and am happy with them.
