will a 99 3.0 ffv work in my 98 non ffv?

Yes, but use the 98's injectors and PCM.

Anything that's different, use the 98's. Shouldn't be much.

the heads will be different, smaller combustion chamber, but if you run a premium fuel, the slight increase in compression will only help.

yes, only swap the longblock, (block, heads). like Earl43p said, the injectors are probably different. larger and would make engine run righ.


otherwise, that is a swap that i would do.

wow thank you guys. everyone on here helps at anytime and prompt i dont think their is a better site for any car anywhere than the ranger station! you guys are all soo helpful. im gonna snag this motor and go to work thanks alot!
