98 Ranger Speedo Help

Glad to be here,just picked up a 98 ranger ang i'm putting a 302 carb and c4 8.8 (mustang axle)in it .Has anyone found a way to make the speedo work without the computer or axle sensor????

There is a Mechanical (cable) to Electric (wire) Speedo convertor.....they run about 250-300

Do some serious searching. I don't remember where but somewhere in forum land is a thread I once read about the converter. May have to do a lot of searching and reading! But, its out there.
