98+ bed swap

would a 98+ short bed work on my 93. i know i would need to put my tail lights in. but would everything else work. the stock filler neck? body lines? also how hard would it be to remove the 98 fender flares. i want to put mine on so it would match

it will bolt right in
and since its the same 3 bulb setup on the lights, u could leave the 98 ones or swap in yours.

body lines will match since there are the same thing. filler neck also.

only thing i cant answer is about the flares.

well thats the majority of my questions answered. thanks rsh. if anyone else knows about the flares that would be cool. this bed is in a JY where my dad has an in with the owner so i could probably get a pretty good deal. i have another lead on a 93 with a few small dents and "no" rust for 200 so im gonna look at it tomorow

i think that the mud flaps would be the only different thing tho.
since the 97- had em mounted on a metalic rod structure thing, and the 98+ had eh bolted directly to the wheel wells.

Yeah. The mud flaps is what was really confusing me because they are hard plastic attached diferently
