97 ranger


Just left the tranny shop and they told me I had a bad pressure plate and to replace it and the clutch, slave cyl. and pilot bearing would be 650.00. I have not bled the master cyl. yet but I am going to to see what happens. Thanks Shanezoid.
 
You did say it easily slips right into gear if you wait a bit right?
I doubt that would be the pressure plate or any part of the clutch itself, although a pilot bearing is a possibility. Since the trans would still have to come out for that though, may as well replace everything.
