95 explorer purchase

I'm thinking of buying this 95 exploder for 200 bucks. Its got 140k miles, auto and 4.0 but no rear end, however i happen to have a spare 8.8 just lying around. Trouble is, it wont start and i'll tell you why. It was rolled over but its worth having for a beater but thats not the point. Point is, when it was rolled over, the main harness under the windshield pillar has some wires that were sliced, actually a good many. Anywho, dude said he tried spicing them back together but it went into theft mode or something and he's locked out from starting it??? What, if any sense does this make and how do i correct the issue? It would really be worth 200 bucks if i can get it to run.

Dunno anything about the wiring, but have you checked the fuel inertia switch?

if it is that switch, its near the passanger kick panel. and $200.... you could junk it for that if you could never get it running, id say go for it.
